The IUCN Cities, Culture and Youth Team (CCY) is thrilled to announce its participation to the 16th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), in Cali, Colombia on 21 October – 4 November 2024.
The event will bring together States Parties, international agencies and global practitioners in the field of biodiversity conservation to discuss effective conservation mechanisms and the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework
As part of the larger IUCN delegation, Tony Nello, IUCN Senior Programme Coordinator – Urban, will be involved in a number of sessions and events, including:
