Urban planner and architect with nearly 20 years of experience in sustainable city development and project management, Pasqualino currently leads strategic initiatives as Head of Strategic Projects, Mobility and Public Space Development at the Municipality of Lausanne, Switzerland. His expertise extends to international conservation efforts, where he co-chairs the Urban Alliance at IUCN, contributing to global strategies for urban biodiversity and ecosystem preservation.
His career has focused on promoting innovative and sustainable solutions for urban development, with a particular emphasis on biodiversity integration. He has led international teams in various countries, including India, China, and Italy, holding prominent roles such as Urban Design Director and Head of Architecture and Urban Planning Department.
His projects have received international recognition, including awards for sustainable city development. He holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Rome and is a LEED Green Associate, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental issues, particularly how urban growth can integrate with biodiversity protection and conservation.
