Dr. Radhika Murti is the Director for IUCN’s Centre for Societal Transformation at the organisation’s headquarters in Switzerland. In this role, she provides leadership on policy positioning and programming for IUCN’s work on human rights in conservation, water, agriculture, world heritage advice to UNESCO, youth, sports for nature, urban and environmental law. Additionally, Radhika has been serving as the Global Coordinator for IUCN on Nature-based Solutions for Societal Challenges, having led the development of IUCN’s Global Standard on Nature-based Solutions. Originally from Fiji, Radhika has a background in forestry, sustainable land management and community-based climate change adaptation.
