Tony is a French economist, residing in Costa Rica since 2013 and working for IUCN since 2017. Since 2022, Tony serves as Programme Coordinator for Cities within IUCN Secretariat, supporting multiple subnational governments in their efforts to establish their biodiversity baseline and assess ecosystem services generated by urban Nature-based-Solutions, developing strategic relationships and project portfolio development.
Before getting involved with IUCN, Tony worked with local and international NGOs in the field of energy efficiency, business model and business plan development, carbon finance and organic agriculture. Tony speaks French (native), Spanish and English. After graduating with a Bachelor of Economics in Caen University (France), Tony joined the 3A Business and development school to obtain a Master in Business Administration.
