Living Cities is the fourth in our series of Policy Futures. It proposes fundamental principles of ecological urbanism for use by planners, designers, architects and other professionals.
The publication also makes a series of 20 practical recommendations for embedding nature in the urban environment at a number of different scales to ensure that towns and cities support a rich range of biodiversity, and that people enjoy a improved quality of life.
